ELECTIONS
Monterey Park City Municipal Elections are held every two (2) years in odd numbered years on the first Tuesday in March. The five (5) Council Members serve four (4) year terms with three (3) seats elected in one election and two (2) seats in the next election, at which time the City Clerk and City Treasurer are also elected.

CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS
City Council meetings are held on the first and third Wednesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber. The Council also serves as governing board to the Community Redevelopment Agency.
