The Economic Development Department works in partnership with local communities, and other agencies to provide a range of human and economic development services and activities.  These activities are designed to increase the capacity of individuals and families to become self-sufficient, to revitalize the community and to build the stability and capacity to create opportunities. 

Programs and services are wide-ranging, touching the lives of young and old throughout the neighborhoods in the community by providing access to quality information, resources, and services provided with federal, state, and local funds.
